Emma Edwards is a digital unicorn specialising in making tough industries interesting through un-ignorable content. Once hell bent on working in fashion marketing (yikes), she soon discovered that she was more suited to talking about cashflow than catwalks.
She earned her stripes in the social media space working for Melbourne-based creative agencies, and carved out a niche as the voice behind superannuation, broking, banking and financial brands with ease.
Emma then went on to build her own social media brand, capturing the financial engagement gap in younger generations and making money talk less boring. The Broke Generation, now Broke Media, has grown to an audience of over 130,000 on social media, alongside two globally-published books and a podcast with over 1M downloads.
With an honours’ degree in Marketing, and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Psychology and behaviour, Emma gets inside the brains of consumers and understands what makes them tick (and click!)
